How to configure Outlook 365 / Outlook 2021 / Outlook 2019 / Outlook 2016 (Windows) Print

Automatic Setup (Preferred)

1. Open Outlook.

2. Click File ? Add Account.

3. Enter the email address (e.g., name@domain.com).

4. Click Connect.

5. Enter the password when prompted.

6. If prompted for account type, select IMAP (recommended).

7. Click Done once Outlook confirms setup.

Manual Setup (If Auto fails)

1. File ? Add Account.

2. Enter email ? click Advanced Options ? Let me set up my account manually ? Connect.

3. Choose IMAP or POP3.

4. Enter server settings:

   Setting	Typical Value
   Incoming Server	mail.domain.com
   Incoming Port (IMAP)	993 (SSL/TLS)
   Incoming Port (POP3)	995 (SSL/TLS)
   Outgoing Server (SMTP)	mail.domain.com
   Outgoing Port	465 or 587 (SSL/TLS)
   Outgoing Requires Auth	? Use same as incoming

5. Click Next ? Done.
